Barry & Loewy LLP represents an Austin man who created a sales software program for D.R. Horton, Inc. (NYSE: DHI), the nation’s largest homebuilder. The Austin man offered to sell the program to D.R. Horton but the company repeatedly declined to buy it.
However, unbeknownst to the Austin developer, D.R. Horton began using the program throughout Texas and the nation, and continues to use it to this day. D.R. Horton used it without the Austin developer’s permission and therefore, according to the lawsuit, committed conversion and theft.
The suit is pending in the District Court of Bexar County (San Antonio). Barry & Loewy LLP is co-counseling this case with the Watts Law Firm.
Barry & Loewy LLP specializes in contingency business litigation and handles cases throughout Texas.
