Natural causes, not injuries, killed victim in 2-car crash (Honolulu Advertiser) - Fri, 12 Mar 2010

An autopsy has determined that a 28-year-old Hilo man who was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle Saturday died of natural causes, and not from injuries sustained in the collision. Kimo K. Elderts was involved in the two-vehicle crash on Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway, three-tenths of a mile south of the 71-mile marker, shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday.

Marine rescue crews said a Toledo man approached his 22-year-old son on a personal watercraft. He turned off the watercraft and coasted toward his son, but the two collided anyway.

(WHAS11) - Traffic was backed up for a few hours Friday afternoon after an accident involving a semi-truck on I-64 westbound. It happened near the Grinstead Drive exit. Dispatchers say a semi truck crossed the center line and crashed in the westbound lanes.     An ambulance was on the scene but we don't yet have information on any injuries.
