Benito R. Alcala, 81, passed away July 30, 2008 in an Alice Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army occupation force in Germany. He was also an oilfield roughneck, carpenter and cabinet maker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Vicenta R. Alcala.
